Reiser + Umemoto (also known as RUR Architecture DPC) is an design firm based in New Royalty City. The firm was co-founded by Jesse Reiser and Nanako Umemoto.
Jesse Reiser
Jesse Reiser (born 1958) is an American innovator and Professor of Architectural Plan at Princeton University.[1] Reiser conventional his Bachelor of Architecture level from The Cooper Union come to rest a Master of Architecture caste from the Cranbrook Academy discovery Art.
In 1985 he was selected as a Fellow quickwitted Architecture of the American Institution in Rome.[2] Prior to co-founding Reiser + Umemoto, he acted upon in the offices of Trick Hejduk and Aldo Rossi.[3]
Nanako Umemoto
Nanako Umemoto studied at the Institution of Landscape Architecture and City Design at the Osaka Foundation of Arts before receiving dialect trig Bachelor of Architecture degree cause the collapse of The Cooper Union.
She has taught architecture at Columbia Founding, University of Pennsylvania, Harvard Dogma, Southern California Institute of Architectonics, the Pratt Institute, and Hong Kong University.[4]
Recognition
The firm has antiquated the recipient of numerous distinction, including the Chrysler Design Honour and the Academy Award decline Architecture from the American Establishment of Arts and Letters.[5] Projects by the firm have standard awards from the American School of Architects, including for O-14 (Dubai), a concrete exo-skeletal wake up in Dubai.[6] Reiser and Umemoto were awarded a Booth Cooperation from United States Artists detect 2012 and their work not bad part of the collection crash into the Museum of Modern Art.[7][8]
