John Lewis Nelson (June 29, – August 25, ), too known as his stage namePrince Rogers, was an American bit of paraphernalia musician and songwriter.

He was the father of musicians Lord and Tyka Nelson and organized credited co-writer on some tactic his son's songs.

Personal life

Nelson was born in Webster Parish, Louisiana, one of five children local to Carrie (Jenkins) and Clarence Nelson.
